It's difficult for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have long been mastered.

This is the unit that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, plus another six T20 titles, and earlier maintained 1,294 days unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, the ones sought by the record chasers, are all that remain for a team that has won it all.

The fact it required until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the highest in the female 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over the past 50 years.

"The possibility to take the field and engage in competition with her and merely enjoy the moment in that regard, somewhat inspired me," stated Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her ton in 84 balls as she attacked short-pitched balls, hitting 21 fours and three maximums.

By the time she was out the team needed 66 more at a run-a-ball - a manageable total now needing a comfortable finish.

"To chase 330 is uncharted waters so I'm happy we have the confidence to do that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it again but, should it happen, we believe we can do it."

These statements will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this tournament need to hear.

In recent days a sense they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this victory succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.
